autum jacket

One of my favourite colours is turcuoise and when I found this material I just had to by it. I have been thinking of how to find a soloution for a jacket/sweater without zipper or a lot of buttons (even if I love buttons), for babies, and inspirated of a sweater from the clothes Julian Red I came out with this idea, that turned out really good.

The jacket has a high collar that you close with one big button. The lining is a thin tricot that cover the hole inside and at the bottom of the jacket there is a thin elastic string so that you can tighten it if you like.

cardigan

An old cardigan of mine that I first had the meaning to just get rid of, transformed to a new, much smaller one with new, happy heart buttons for Little N.

large shorts

In the same thin tricot as the dress before, I made these large shorts with one pocket, decorated with a heart application.

summer dress

The warmest summer days require high sun protection, a lot of water and a light summer dress. This dress in a thin, blue tricot with flower applications has also matching panties.

Little N landed!

September 2008

At last our baby girl decided to enter this world and it was the most exiting experience of my life!!!

For the cold spring evenings I made this cap for her (the pattern is from the site of Garnstudio). To make it a little bit more funny I crochet a flower as decoration.

dress for the pregnant

On my birthday, 1 month before the birth of Little N, I put on the dress that I had made for myself. I still have a lot of the material left but I don't have ideas of what to do with it.

the baby bed

The bed for the Little N was originally from a cousin. We polished and painted it and then I made the side protection, the storage and the "sky decoration". Then it just stood there beside our own bed in a couple of weeks, waiting for the baby to come and rest there...very loooong weeks...

jeansdress

Together with this little jeansdress I made a matching hat but it unfortunately turned out too small for the baby when it was time to use the dress...

crochet monkey and donkey

Another very welcome new member of the family was Manolo, the monkey, he was really made before the birth of Little N. The pattern (moderated a bit) is from a weekly paper and the best of all is that he is always smiling ;-) This monkey required many hours and a lot of patience and now when I look at him I don´t know how I managed to finish him...

A short time after Manolo was created I also made a donkey, this one is my own design. Almost 1 year passed since he was finished but still he has no eyes and I cannot decide if I should put on eyes or not, what do you think?

dress for chistmas

For the Little N´s first christmas I just had to make her a dress with matching slippers. She was so pretty and it was worth all the trouble!

bibs

One of the first things I started to produce in a large number for Little N were bibs. Here you can see some example of them. The inspiration have I taken from many diferent bibs on the market (there are millions of them...).

cap and gloves

Even in Spain the winter is cold for a little baby so I made, for Little N, this warm cap and gloves in red, and she used them very much.

The set in light blue, including a scarf, is an order I made for a friend for the same christmas, 2008.

Welcome!

This is the first time I ever write in a blog so it's more like a test. As I woud like to give the possibility to so many people as possible to be able to read and follow this blog I have chosen to write it in english, even though swedish would be the easiest way for me. I apologize now for possible gramatical mistakes in the future.

If you have any questions or comentaries, you're more than welcome!

ENJOY!
